As a first-generation college graduate with a Master’s degree, I understand how important education is to our local families. I am passionate about investing in our youth so they can excel in education, career, and life.

Serving on the SAUSD Board has been an honor. Together, we are delivering real progress for our students and schools. Our district is now showing academic growth on the California School Dashboard because we prioritized timely supports for students and teachers. We secured a historic $355 million school bond to modernize campuses, expanded early literacy and small-group instruction, strengthened English Learner programs, and sustained counselors at every elementary school to support student well-being.

I also championed a districtwide Immigrant Support Plan reaching more than 21,000 families with clear policies, staff training, food assistance, and Know Your Rights workshops. We elevated student voice by welcoming Student Board Members and launching student-led Voter Registration Weeks, empowering thousands of students to participate in civic life. Through initiatives like Our Stories Unite Us!, we strengthened family engagement and built stronger bridges between home and school.

I am committed to representing our local community as SAUSD Trustee and look forward to continuing our work together to support every student and every family.
